A Deltones Retrospective
Updated October 23, 2011
After an incredible experience, the Deltones are happy to be back home after their adventures on the Sing Off. Following several weeks of intense competition, the Deltones were eliminated after making it to the top ten in the competition. We are still so incredibly honored to have been a part of this competition, grateful for the experience and the friendships, and for getting the chance to share our love of music.
For those of you who missed any performances, you can still watch highlights or full episodes here
We are now focusing on getting ready for our fall concert (NOVEMBER 19th - Oh Yeah!) as well as lots of local gigs around campus in the meantime. In fact, justthe other day we had the opportunity to sing for the governor of Delaware, Jack Markell, who is an incredibly friendly and charming fellow. Walter was so excited, he just couldn't stop winking the entire time.
Awww Yea! NEWTONES!!!

DELTONES: NBC's THE SING-OFF!!
Updated August 16, 2011
This fall, the Deltones will be competing on NBC's The Sing-Off for $200,000 and a Sony Recording Contract! Tune in on Monday nights (8-10pm ET) to catch all of the a cappella action along with judges Ben Folds, Sara Barielles, and Shawn Stockman. The show premieres on September 19, but the Deltones won't be on until the second episode on September 26.
The Deltones, an a cappella group from the University of Delaware, were started by a group of five friends in 1991. With the motto "friends first, singers second," the members used the group as an creative musical outlet, while creating bonds with each other that would last a lifetime. After over twenty years, the Deltones still uphold these core values, making an effort to balance a strong passion for music with an overall sense of family and camaraderie within the group.
The Deltones are most recognizable from their appearance on season 3 of NBC's "The Sing-Off." With their distinct sound, and high-energy performances, they have made a name for themselves at the university through concerts and performances on campus as well as throughout the local community, including performances for many philanthropic organizations, Governor Jack Markell, and the Philadelphia Phillies.
P.S. They're supah sexy.
